I decided to upload the Original DearSomebody letter - I felt it would benefit the project. This way if people see the project and become interested they can see exactly what it's about, they can also send me a note in reply if they choose.

I know it is early days but I would like to thank the few of you that have responded - reading your replies makes me smile and proves that this is worth it. They're inspirational, thank you.

Please remember that you may send a letter to this account at any time, it does not even have to be in reply to the original letter. This project is designed so that you can get your thoughts and feelings out there without having to worry about what people think about you for doing so.

What is DearSomebody?

DearSomebody is a net-wide community project - letters/emails/messages are sent out to randomly picked strangers who are invited to send a reply. This project is intended to mean something to someone - I hope that person is you.

The replies will be posted in the gallery unless the author wishes otherwise. I will post them anonymously unless the author wishes their name/username to remain on the reply

Who is behind it?

Currently the creator of DearSomebody wishes to remain anonymous. However, there are plans for revealing the author and the inspiration in the future - it all depends on how this goes, let's hope it goes well.

How can I get involved?

Add DearSomebody to your DeviantWATCH - eventually DearSomebody will have its own website but until then it is here.
